Dr. Gonzo killed himself today.  I wish I could say I am surprised, but I’m not.  He was a manic genius who loved booze and drugs and guns, and all of the above was bound to knock some years off of his life.  If you haven’t read Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Hell’s Angels do yourself and modern journalism a favor and get on that stick.
