Um, Howdy

My hope is that no one is actually reading this blog yet, since I’ve yet to add any pictures or interesting information of any sort. After more than 20 years of embroidery and sewing and several years of knitting, leather-work, and other crafty goodness, I figured I should actually document some of my work, since most of it disappears into friend’s closets. I am currently working on a huge bag that I will felt on completion, a lovely alpaca scarf for my aunt, a ruana made of leftover yarn (that will take ages), my first wholly machine-made quilt, a mosaic counter, a kitchen remodel we will never finish, a huge garden that would love a staff . . . need I say more?  I have recently finished a simple silk lace scarf for my Mom (shhhh–don’t tell. It’s a present!) and a lovely simple silky-wool shawl for myself. So, um, welcome and all that.
