I completed my Aunt Judy’s alpaca lace scarf just in time to give it to her when she is in town visiting for Thanksgiving. That frees up the needles to start one in a gorgeous green wool for my Aunt Charlene. I’m likely to work on it in front of her to see if she ooohs and aaahs about the color. If yes, then it’s a Christmas gift for her. If no, then, well, it’s a Christmas gift for me. I will not have much needle time this week because I have to bake the Thanksgiving desserts for my family gathering and throw a dinner party for friends the day after.
