Introduction

Welcome to eating poetry, a place to read and discuss poetry with others who embrace verse that’s worth reading.  We’re not looking at doggerel, we’re not looking at Freshman lit texts, we’re looking at the good stuff.  It won’t all be pretty, and it won’t all be easy. We’ll cover a new volume of poetry each month.

Our first two books are  Pharaoh’s Daughter by Nuala N. Dhomhnaill and The Dream Songs by John Berryman.   If you want to join in the discussion, get the books and get to reading.  We’ll welcome other members, though it’s just Rachel and me here at the start.  If you’re interested in participating, drop us a line.
